The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially announced Thursday, July 9, 2026, as the passing-out date for members of the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream I currently serving in various states across Nigeria.
The announcement confirms the completion of the mandatory one-year national service programme for thousands of corps members deployed to different sectors of the economy, including education, healthcare, agriculture, and public administration, The News Edition reports.
Corps Members Set to Complete National Service
With the passing-out date now confirmed, eligible corps members are expected to conclude all outstanding service obligations and participate in activities leading up to the issuance of their NYSC Certificates of National Service.
The passing-out exercise marks the final stage of the NYSC programme and formally signals the completion of national service by participating graduates.
NYSC Urges Compliance With Exit Procedures
Corps members are expected to comply with all NYSC guidelines and clearance requirements before receiving their certificates.
State secretariats and local government offices are also expected to communicate specific instructions regarding final clearance, collection of certificates, and other administrative procedures ahead of the passing-out exercise.
